At Tiny Tales Shelf, every book is handpicked and packed with care. We value transparency and want our customers to have a clear understanding of our return and refund practices.
By placing an order with us, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.

Section 1 β General Policy
All sales made through Tiny Tales Shelf are final.
We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refund requests for reasons including change of mind, duplicate purchase, dislike of book condition (in the case of preloved items), or personal preference.
As we deal in both new and preloved books, each item is carefully inspected, photographed, and described accurately before being listed. Minor wear or imperfections are natural to preloved books and do not qualify as defects.

Section 2 β Damaged, Missing, or Tampered Packages
Refunds are considered only in the rare event that:

The package is visibly damaged or tampered with during delivery, or
-
One or more items are missing due to courier mishandling or theft.
In such cases, the customer must:

Contact us within 12 hours of delivery, and
-
Provide a complete unboxing video showing:
-
The sealed outer package before opening,
-
The AWB (Air Waybill) number / shipping label, and
-
The entire unboxing process, including the damaged or missing item(s).

This video evidence is mandatory to initiate a claim with the courier partner.
Without it, we will be unable to process a refund or compensation.

Section 3 β Refund Process
If your claim is approved after verification, we will initiate a refund or replacement, depending on stock availability.
Replacement product will be delivered within a time period of 10 days

Refunds will be credited to your original payment method within 7β10 business days after confirmation.

Section 4 β Non-Returnable and Non-Refundable Items
We do not accept returns or provide refunds for:

Books received in good condition,
-
Orders delayed due to courier or unforeseen circumstances,
-
Minor cosmetic wear on preloved books,
-
Personal dislike of content, theme, or appearance.

Section 5 β Battery-Operated and Sound Books
Certain books sold by Tiny Tales Shelf, such as sound books, musical books, or books containing battery-operated components, are checked and confirmed to be in working condition at the time of dispatch.
Due to the fragile nature of these products and the possibility of battery displacement or damage during transit, we do not offer refunds, returns, or replacements for any sound or battery-operated books that do not function upon arrival.
By purchasing such items, the customer acknowledges and accepts that:

The product was tested before shipping,

The functionality of sound modules may be affected by handling during delivery, and
-
The purchase is made at the customerβs own risk.
We recommend replacing the batteries (if accessible) or gently tapping the sound area to check for reconnection before concluding that the book is non-functional.

Section 6 β Lost Shipments
In the rare case of a lost package, please contact us promptly.
Once we confirm the loss with the courier service, we will either send a replacement (if available) or issue a refund for the affected item(s).

Section 8 β Final Rights
Tiny Tales Shelf reserves the right to refuse refund or replacement requests that do not comply with the conditions stated above.
All decisions regarding refunds are final and made at the sole discretion of Tiny Tales Shelf.
